Amberjack is a recruitment technology company that builds products to improve the hiring experience for both employers and candidates. Candidate Chat was an internal product designed to reimagine communication between employers and applicants — bridging the gap and laying the foundation for stronger relationships throughout the recruitment process.

As the sole creative on the team, I owned the project end-to-end — from initial concept and character design through to storyboarding, animation direction and final delivery. Working within Amberjack's brand, I developed a cast of characters to bring the product's story to life, creating a visual language that felt warm, approachable and distinctly human for what is otherwise a technical product.
